Here's how we can help...
What is Coaching anyway?
Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative partnership designed between a coach and client that inspires the client to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is judgement free and confidential.
Coaching utilizes personal strategic planning, strengths identification, values clarification, brainstorming, motivational inspiration, and other techniques. Coaches believe that you know the answers to every question or challenge you may have in your life, even if those answers appear to be obscured, concealed or hidden inside.
Our Coaches know the right questions to ask and have the right tools and techniques to empower you to:
Coaching is not for the person who expects the Coach to do the work for them.
Service and Fees: Our Coaching most often includes anywhere between six to twelve 50-minute coaching sessions which we can determine during your complimentary exploratory session. The sessions may be spread out over the next 5-8 months (or even shorter) and are available virtually (by phone or Zoom) to allow for flexibility in your location and based on the Coaches' preference.
Coaching services are tax-deductible!

Here's how to work with us...
1. Meet Our Coaches
Not sure who to work with? Our Coaches bring a diverse perspective and expertise. Read about their backgrounds and go with your gut. If you still don’t know who to work with – no problem! We offer a 15-minute call to get you matched. |
2. Schedule Free Exploratory Session
This is a complimentary 25-minute session where you get to experience what it’s like to work with a Coach and ask any questions you have about how we can help you. This gets us on the same page and helps us decide if we’re a good fit. |
3. Activate What's Possible
If we think we’re a good fit after the exploratory session, we send you a proposal with a recommendation on how we might work together. We don’t “cookie cut” our services - we customize our approach based on your needs. |
Things to Expect in a Coaching Session:
1) Interruptions and pointed questions. We may interrupt you, and we may ask direct, pointed questions. It’s important that we find the communication style that’s most effective for us as a team, and it’s essential that you feel heard in our discussion, and yet excessive politeness should not get in the way of real communication.
2) Suggestions and responses. We may make some suggestions and you always have at least four responses to choose from: You can say “Yes,” say “No,” propose an alternative, or ask for time to think about it. Any feedback or advice that we provide can be thought of as a suggestion, and you always have the ability to accept it, reject it, modify it, or defer it.
3) Reflection and note-taking. Coaching sessions shouldn’t feel like other conversations, in which both parties feel an obligation to “keep up.” At times we may pause to allow you to reflect or to choose where to go next, and at times you may pause to take some notes or gather your thoughts. We’ll take occasional notes to avoid being distracted by points we’re trying to remember or questions we’d like to raise later.
Consider this a warning…
YOU ARE GOING TO WRITE when you work with us.
Write what? You will be asked to write on a number of topics. Ex: How you feel about this process, what’s next for you, what’s working for you, what’s not, etc.
Not all of the homework we give to you will be writing, it might be reading, but reflection is key to this process. You will be in transition (if you aren’t already when you reach out to us) and writing during transition helps you get from the known to the unknown.
Now, if you are not a “writer” or “journal-er”, we are open to you using your other skills to express yourself instead. But express you will. And you will be asked to share your thoughts in session.
So if you aren’t willing to put in the work, no need to keep reading.

Q & A (Questions & Actions)
Coaching is a collaborative process, in which you define, speak out loud and strategically move toward what you really want in life. You stretch yourself, your feelings, and what’s possible in your life. And you become who you always have truly been, but been too scared to let yourself be yourself.
Do I have to make a MAJOR change in order to make the most out of the investment of having a Coach?
No, you just have to have a desire to do something different than you have been doing it before. There are paths for every comfort level. It is all about choice...and you have choice.
Is this therapy?
No, Coaching is not therapy. While both are very valuable in moving you past roadblocks in life, their approaches differ in many ways. Coaching is about taking you from where you are now and moving you forward. Therapy is about healing. There are some clients who benefit from working with both professionals concurrently. Foremost, Coaches do not diagnose or treat any psychiatric disorders.
Who benefits from Coaching?
Coaching is for anyone who is sick of living the "deferred life plan" and instead, wants to live life large instead of postponing it. You know, stuck.
How will you help me?
Who uses a Coach?
Coaching is found in every industry and situation you can imagine. Life provides an abundance of circumstances, Coaching provides an abundance of support. Tennis superstar Venus Williams has a serving coach, Shaun White has a snowboarding coach, and Derek Jeter a batting coach. Why? They weren’t bad at their sports and need to be “fixed”, they wanted to master their sports. So having a Coach is about taking yourself to the next level and becoming a master of your life.
Successful Coaching clients typically have just a few factors in common;
1. They are willing to ask questions and challenge perceptions.
2. They are willing to reveal the truth, learn from it and take action.
3. They have a vision, although frequently clouded, of a better life.
How long should I expect to need a Coach?
The average amount of time clients keep their Coaches varies based by client and situation. Some folks need the support for a short amount of time and they are off and running! Others need more time to process, practice the behavior change and love the "check-ins" with their Coach. So for everyone, it is different. There is no set prescription for Coaching - no set number of sessions, no set guidelines for how long...it is an individualized process. So it is up to you!
Is what I say in a session confidential?
The Client/Coach relationship is both personal and highly professional. You must always feel safe in what you share. We encourage you to share the unexaggerated truth with us – we are ready to hear it and it remains safely in our care. We have a strict NO DISCLOSURE policy. What happens in our sessions, stays in our sessions.
Do you guarantee your work with me?
Nope. Plain and simple. Don't even ask. Why? Because we can't go on the interview with you, we can't force you to do the homework we assign you, and we can't make you learn something you don't want to learn. YOU will make this happen, not us. We are going to be your catalyst of change, but we are not going to push you up the hill you are looking to get up. We will stand next to you and support you on the climb, but if you expect me to push or pull you up the hill, we are not the Coaches for you. We will be your Accountability Coach, your Goal Setting AND Getting Coach, and your "Make Shit Happen" Coach, but we cannot guarantee that as a human being you are going to do everything we need you to do perfectly. So no, we don't guarantee working with me will land you a job or make you clear about what you want in one session. So don't ask. We WILL for sure make a difference in your life. You WILL feel the difference in your focus, clarity, and motivation in working with me. That I know we can do. And don't ask us to "fix" you...you aren't broken. Lost, maybe. But not broken.
Can you really do all that?
No, not without you! This isn’t a get the “Cliff Notes” to happiness program; it’s more like a gym. We are your personal trainer and we provide the equipment and the environment for you to succeed. You have our resources and training at your disposal - AND - it’s up to you to use them. We share the responsibility of this journey together.
How do we do this Coaching thing?
One of the greatest testaments to the power of Coaching is it is powerfully effective in many mediums. Some coaches have local “face to face” practices while many coaches have international practices sustained entirely via phone, text and e-mail. We utilize both methods to best serve my clients needs.
First we offer a complimentary “Exploratory Session” in order to discuss what you might need support in, with, becoming, etc. This Exploratory Session offers you a chance to also get to know us and our style as Coaches to determine if it is a strong fit. It is important for us to both connect to be sure that we both are willing to invest in each other.
Once we have our 25-minute Exploratory, if we decide to move forward together, we will schedule a 50-minute long sessions for the upcoming weeks. Again, you have a choice to have your sessions over the phone or face to face. And then the fun starts!
We hope we’ve been able to answer many of your questions. If not, please bring them to our first session.
No questions are dumb…just un-asked ones.
