I’ve never started a business just for the money. It’s always been for the fun of it. To quote David Byrne, “always for love, never for money.”


I coach people in career transitions, mid-flight career strivers, and small business owners. My specialty is branding, and I work with many clients on crafting their own personal brand, story, perception, and reputation -- or that of the products, services and businesses of which they are responsible. 

Before coaching professionally, I spent two decades in New York City, building digital media brands for the largest content producers in the world -- and their advertisers. Empowering people to develop better versions of themselves was always in my DNA, and it's no coincidence that I spent roughly half of my career at Rodale, Inc., the most heartfelt and positive-impact publishing company of self empowerment and better living magazines, books, and digital media. 
What you can expect when working with me:
All in life is a process, and my developmental coaching style is no different. Using a simple, well understood and articulated process ensures success, time after time. Developmental coaching is different from performance coaching.

Performance coaching pushes a client to a goal, and works at a very superficial level. For example, Alec Baldwin’s transactional and unenlightened A-B-C speech in Glengarry Glen Ross is a pretty explicit example of traditional performance coaching.

That’s not what we do here.

Developmental coaching is solutions oriented, with goal posts in mind. But instead of focusing on the 1-2-3 actions to get to the goal, we move into the issues and obstacles that would otherwise prevent you from successfully, efficiently, and noticeably reaching that goal.

​As issues resolve, you will find that being increasingly effective requires less effort and causes less stress. Your impact will increase within the organization, and people will notice. Your career will shift into a higher gear and flourish. And the positive effects will spill over into your personal life, too.
