Stop working out – it’s time to train!

“Nothing will work unless you do.”

This quote makes me think of our coaching clients who come to us with a goal in mind. Are they “working out” to reach their goals or “training” to hit their goal? And what is the difference? 
Often when we “work out” we do so without any long term plans or goals in mind. When athletes train, they train their bodies, their minds, and their hearts to go after a goal they have set. Ask yourself, are you working out or training to hit your goal? Here are a few thoughts on why we think everyone should aim to train to hit their goals, not just work out – whether it be to get a new job, to start a business, to lose weight, to stop smoking, to increase gratitude…
